Oh what fun it is to plan a trip and then look at your budget and go...hum.  What to do, what to do? We need how much!? and when are we planning on going?   I have to chuckle and say to myself... self, just remember the goal and what you want to do. 

I guess I could stand on the street corner and be a professional panhandler part time.  Nope, quickly ruled out, too dangerous.  Maybe stand on that same street corner and... nope, don't want to do jail time either.  LOL I guess I revert to picking up pennies and putting them in a vacation bank.  A Penny saved is a Penny earned.

Here We Go on our way to the wonderful land of AUZ

Yup, here we go, my great wife and forever companion and I are planning a trip to Australia for our long awaited birthdays in 2 years time.  Why 2 years you ask? That is how long it will take to plan it, get in the shape we want to be in and prepare our Kids to be alone for at least 30 days. LOL.   Really though, it is a great opportunity for my wife and I to get away and for me to be able to show her all of the places I served at while there on an LDS mission. See some old friends,(if they are still there) and see some of the things I missed or didn't see  During this next few years we want to take you on our journey to getting ready for this awesome trip of a lifetime and hope  you come along for the ride. Both Alana and I will be posting cause I want you to get it from both our perspectives, our great achievements and our set backs.
